The neighborhood
Nexon, in the St-Yrieix La Perche district, holds a "2 Flowers" distinction in the National Flowering Competition. As a gateway town to the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park, Nexon stands as a significant stop on the Richard the Lionheart Route.
The church, dating back to the 12th and 15th centuries, houses treasures like the reliquary bust of Saint Ferréol from the 14th century and a XIII-century enameled copper shrine, along with an 18th-century wooden Virgin and Child. The remains of fortifications, such as the stone bell tower and the bretèche, bear witness to its historical past.
The 17th-century castle, restored in the 19th century, is surrounded by a park spanning approximately 40 hectares, perfect for serene walks and hosting the "Le Haras du Parc" equestrian center. Since 1986, it has housed the Town Hall, with its nearby stables preserving Nexon's prestigious equine history. This stud farm, among the oldest in France, has been in existence since the 16th century.
"The Jardin des Sens, a Bridge between Generations," is a place where all senses awaken through various themes, such as the bark garden, scent tunnel, flower rainbow, and therapeutic garden.
"The Sirque - National Center for Circus Arts in Nexon, Limousin," offers performances, exhibitions, a bookstore, creative residencies, a resource center, along with a contemporary Circus festival called "La Route du Sirque" and a permanent big top.
Nexon boasts a green tourism center with a campground and a hamlet of cottages around the Lande pond. You can arrange visits to the town and the castle by booking with René, our communal greeter. Getting around
The Nexon train station is available for your train travels. Taxi services are accessible for regional transportation, and bus connections are available via the TRANSPORTS.NOUVELLE-AQUITAINE site.

- Check-in times are scheduled from the afternoon, starting at 3 PM, until 9 PM.
- Check-out times are scheduled in the morning before 11 AM.
- Parties or any other large gatherings are prohibited.
- The accommodation is non-smoking.
- Pets are not allowed.
The property is equipped with an alarm system and video surveillance for your security. A keycard will be provided for arming and disarming the alarm when you leave. We are available for any additional information.
Access to the property is via a lengthy path across the field. It's important to note that this path is gravelly and might be somewhat challenging for low-clearance vehicles.
